Louvre Furniture Mall, Foshan:
- The Louvre sits on the west bank of the Yingxiong River in Lecong, Shunde; a May 2026 guide lists opening hours of 09:00–18:30, last entry 18:00, seven days a week.
- Entry and parking are free; the upper floors double as a photo destination.
- A Chongqing buyer reports the import hall needs a booking by phone or mini-programme, with non-stock orders starting at about RMB 200,000 and taking around 8 months.
- Two other posters walked into the import hall unbooked on quiet days — book to be safe.
- A commenter’s rule of thumb: the trip is worth it with a furniture budget of RMB 100,000 or more; below that, it makes little difference.
The Louvre Furniture Mall (Louvre International Furniture Expo Centre) is the showcase building on Lecong’s furniture road in Shunde, Foshan. Entry and parking are free, it opens daily from about 09:00 to 18:30, and its imported-brand hall on the fifth and sixth floors works by appointment. Most buyers use it to see originals and the top of the market, then order elsewhere; non-stock import orders carry high minimums and long lead times.
Where is the Louvre Furniture Mall in Foshan, and how do you get there?
It is in Lecong town, Shunde district, on the main furniture road between Shunlian South and Shunlian North; navigate to “Louvre International Furniture Expo Centre”. Chinese guides describe it as a national 4A-rated scenic site as well as a furniture mall. The car park is large and free, and one guide says spaces are easy to find even on holidays.
Without a car, a February 2026 guide suggests the Guangfo metro line to Kuiqi Road (exit C), then bus 255 or a taxi. Our путеводитель по рынку Lecong shows where the Louvre sits against the other malls on the same road.
One naming trap: several Xiaohongshu posts describe a “Guangzhou Louvre” home centre celebrating its seventh anniversary. That is a separate venue in Guangzhou. If a supplier gives you a Louvre address, check the city.

What is on each floor of the Louvre furniture mall?
Domestic mid-to-upper brands fill the lower floors, imported brands sit on floors 5 and 6, and the top floors are galleries and photo spots. The building is divided into zones A to D; the table pulls together what three recent posts report.
| Где | What posters found | Worth your time? |
|---|---|---|
| Floors 1–4 | Domestic brand halls in European, Chinese and modern styles; one buyer found them much like any furniture mall | Skim, unless a brand on your list is here |
| Floor 3 | A solid-wood area (North American walnut, American and European styles) | Yes, if you want solid wood at the top of the domestic range |
| Floors 5–6 import hall | Brand stores and multi-brand galleries for Italian and other imported labels | Yes — this is the benchmark floor |
| Zone C, floor 5 | A domed atrium with columns, popular for photos; restaurants and cafés nearby | Lunch stop |
The import hall does not allow photographs, according to the Chongqing buyer, so bring a notebook and a tape measure rather than relying on your phone.

The Louvre’s real product, for an overseas buyer, is not furniture but a benchmark: one of the few places where you can sit on an original in the morning and on its Foshan interpretation in the afternoon. Buying the original there means a Chinese retail contract, a long lead time and no warranty route at home; if the original is what you want, your local dealer is often simpler. Go to the Louvre to learn what a good sofa feels like, then buy the version whose specification you can put in writing.
Do you need an appointment for the Louvre import hall?
Book one: the hall’s own process is by appointment, even though some visitors have been let in on the spot. A buyer who flew in from Chongqing in January 2026 says bookings are taken by phone or through the mall’s mini-programme, and customer service asks about your style before assigning a salesperson. A Beijing visitor found the hall empty and walked in; another poster says adding the receptionist on WeChat at the door was enough.
For an overseas buyer the booking matters for a different reason: it gets you a salesperson with time to answer four questions — which pieces are in stock in China, the lead time for the rest, the deposit, and whether the price includes delivery within China. The answers show quickly whether a piece can join a container leaving in weeks rather than months.

Что добавляют комментарии?
The comments answer practical questions the posts skip.
- Opening days confuse people. Readers ask whether it opens at weekends or needs booking; one found it closed on the day, while the poster replies that it opens every day. Check on the morning you go.
- Budget decides whether the trip pays. A commenter says that setting aside at least RMB 100,000 for furniture makes the journey worthwhile; below that, it hardly matters whether you go.
- Watch who replies to you. Under the Beijing family’s post, questions asking for shop recommendations were answered with requests to add a private WeChat — the online version of the touts at the gate.
Is the Louvre Furniture Mall worth visiting if you are buying from abroad?
Yes as a reference stop for two or three hours; rarely as the place for a large export order. The Chongqing buyer was quoted a minimum of about RMB 200,000 for non-stock imported pieces and a lead time of around eight months, and suggests that buyers who already know the originals can skip the hall.
A Beijing family were blunter: go to the Louvre to see what the best furniture looks like, but the prices are for people with money to spare. A May 2026 guide gives the everyday range in the building as decor from a few hundred yuan and furniture from a few thousand to tens of thousands.
What the Louvre does well is calibration. Sitting on an original sofa and then on its domestic interpretation a few kilometres away teaches you more about foam, frame and stitching than any product sheet. Our гид по ценам на рынке Foshan shows what the same categories cost further down the road, and the Shunlian North–South comparison explains why prices fall once you leave the showcase malls.

How do you buy from the Louvre mall and get it shipped overseas?
Treat every purchase as an export order from day one: written specification, deposit to a company account, inspection before the balance. Lecong retail staff are used to delivering within China by furniture-line truck; export packing, consolidation and documents are not part of a normal sale.
- Get model, dimensions and materials in writing — leather or fabric grade, frame, foam, finish — not just a photo.
- Confirm stock versus made-to-order and the lead time for each piece.
- Pay only to the selling company’s account and ask for its invoice.
- Deliver to your consolidation warehouse, export-packed, not to a Chinese home address.
- Inspect before paying the balance, with photos and video if you are not there.
If you are weighing the Louvre against Lecong’s other malls or Longjiang’s factories, the hub guide to the Foshan furniture market sets out which layer suits which order. For help on the ground, see our гид по агентам закупок мебели в Китае.
Как с этим работает Source Foshan
We use the Louvre as a reference stop, not a default supplier. On a guided day (USD 150, or USD 250 with a car) we can route it first so you see the originals. For pieces you like, we write one specification and compare 2–3 quotes against it from Lecong, Longjiang and beyond. We take no commissions or rebates from any showroom; our 3–5% fee is agreed in writing before a supplier is contacted. Every item is inspected before loading, and you release the balance only after approving the photo and video report.
If the Louvre has given you a taste for a particular sofa or lounge chair but not for an eight-month wait, we recommend Arcaya Living: more than 10,000 pieces sourced to confirmed specifications, with a three-minute style quiz.

Seen something at the Louvre you want to ship home?
Send us the photo, the brand stand and your budget. We will write the specification, find out whether it can be made or bought in time, and compare it with two or three alternatives from Lecong and Longjiang.
