2. Add freight and duties. Both were calculated from the volume; freight alone came to roughly a third of the total.
3. Pay. The platform offered several payment methods with fees shown; she chose a bank transfer to save on fees.
4. Production. Work began the day after payment and finished in under a month, with photos and video sent before dispatch.
5. Shipping. The seller’s forwarder handled sea freight and customs; there was no tracking number, so progress came from the sales contact. After about two months an Italian logistics company called to arrange delivery, which reached Paris a few days later.
