Whole Home Sourcing

One home.
One team.
One container.

Quick answer: Whole-home furniture sourcing groups every room into one controlled schedule, then coordinates suppliers, custom items, approvals, inspection, consolidation and destination handover. Plan dependencies early: built-ins need site dimensions, appliances need interface data, loose furniture needs access checks, and delivery teams need room labels and installation priorities before the container arrives.

Send us your floor plan. We plan every room, source across dozens of factories and showrooms, inspect each piece, and deliver your whole home as one consolidated shipment.

Whole-Home Furniture Sourcing: Room, Package and Handover

Direct answer

A whole-home furniture order should be planned by room, package, interface and dependency before loading and delivery are scheduled. Source Foshan uses this framework to connect cabinets, loose furniture, appliances, site readiness, container position and installation closeout. Claims about a completed Source Foshan project remain gated until authorised project evidence is supplied.

Plan by room, package and dependency

A whole-home order needs more structure than a product list because cabinets, loose furniture, doors, appliances and site work may depend on one another.

Give each room, product, package and carton a stable identifier. Record measurements, approvals, required-on-site dates and interfaces before planning shipment sequence.

Planning layers

  • Room schedule — Room code, item list, quantities, dimensions, finish family and priority.
  • Package register — Group related products by supplier, production route, installation trade or delivery phase.
  • Interface register — Record appliances, power, plumbing, walls, floors, doors, skirtings and clearances.
  • Dependency map — Identify what must be measured, approved, produced or installed first.
  • Exception log — Track missing, incorrect, damaged or deferred items to closure.
02

Connect the package plan to loading and installation

The delivery sequence should match site readiness and preserve access to the items needed first.

Can cabinets and loose furniture ship together?

They can be planned in one programme, but packing, loading, compliance, damage risk and installation sequence should be evaluated for the actual cargo.

Who is responsible for site measurement?

Assign the measurer, method, date, tolerance and approval authority by package.

Can the order ship in phases?

Yes when the package plan, site sequence and additional handling or freight effects are understood and approved.

How are missing parts handled?

Use item and carton identifiers, receipt evidence, an issue owner, temporary workaround if needed, and a dated replacement or closeout record.

Common questions

Before you send the floor plan.

Anything else — ask on WhatsApp or WeChat, or start your project and we'll answer in the first call.

What budget does a whole home need?
Most 2–3 bedroom homes land between US$15,000 and US$60,000 in furniture value depending on materials and how much is custom. We confirm a realistic band from your floor plan before any commitment.
How long does it take?
Typically 10–14 weeks from approved proposal to container loading — custom cabinetry is usually the longest item. Sea freight adds 2–6 weeks depending on destination.
Can I mix ready-made and custom pieces?
That’s the norm. Showroom pieces ship fast; sofas in your fabric, stone tables cut to size and full cabinetry are made to spec — all consolidated into the same shipment. For fitted storage, explore living-room built-ins and wardrobes and closets.
Do I need to come to Foshan?
No — most clients run everything remotely on photos, videos and samples. If you want to come, we turn your proposal into a 2–3 day guided buying trip.
What about damage and after-sales?
Every piece is inspected and photo-documented before packing, and packing is specified for sea freight. Issues found on arrival are claimed against inspection records — we handle the supplier side.
